Snow Globe Ornament

Materials

  • Ultra Fine BIC Mark-It Permanent Markers in Tuxedo Black, Rambunctious Red, Sunset Orange, Forest Green, For-Ever Green and Woodsy Brown.
  • White and Pale Blue acrylic paint
  • Paint brushes
  • Small clear ornament that opens.
  • Unfinished wood napkin ring
  • Red cord ribbon
  • Red Glitter Glue
  • Craft scissors
  • White glue
  • Glue gun/glue sticks
  • White glitter
  • Faux snow

Instructions

  • Paint the wood napkin ring with the blue paint and let dry.
  • Open the clear ornament and paint the body of the snowman on the inside of the ornament. Add snowflakes all over both sides. Let dry.
  • Fill one side of the ornament with the faux snow and close both halves together.
  • Decorate the snowman and draw trees using the BIC Mark-It Permanent Markers.
  • Add sparkle with the red glitter glue and white glitter.
  • Carefully, cut the red cord ribbon to fit around the napkin holder and hot glue to hold.
  • Add ribbon to the top of the snow globe so it can hang.
  •  Write the year or personalize the base of the snow globe using the Tuxedo Black Marker.
  • Carefully, hot glue the snow globe to the base (decorated napkin holder) and add white glitter to hide any hot glue. Let dry.
